What is free week?
Free week is a week long outreach event run by Surrey University Christian Union, and UCCF. The aim of the week is to spread the good news of Jesus, through talks and events which will show the love of God for his people and creation.
What's happening, and when?
We've lined up an action packed week running from the 8th - 12th February, including:
- Daily Lunch Bars (Free food and short talk 1:00pm - 1:50pm):
- Monday: FREE from Religion - Why bother with God? (in TB18)
- Tuesday: FREE from Suffering - Does God even care? (in TB14)
- Wednesday: FREE from God - Hasn't Science disproved Christianity? (in 03AZ01)
- Thursday: FREE to Love - Does God hate sex? (in 15AZ01)
- Friday: FREE to Choose - Where can I find truth? (in 03AZ01)
- Evening events:
- Monday: Swing dancing evening. (7:00pm - 9:00pm in AP1/2)
With the Surrey Big Band, food provided. - Tuesday: Curry & Quiz Night at Wates. (7:00pm in Wates House)
Test your knowledge! With a short talk in the middle. - Wednesday: Grill-a-Christian. (7:30pm in Hillside)
Have your questions answered by our panel in a relaxed atmosphere. With Andy Croft, Gareth Leaney, Naomi Skull and George Micklewight. - Thursday: Christian Union Unplugged. (7:00pm in TB18/19)
An informal 'main' meeting, a great chance for anyone to find out what the CU is about. - Friday: Text-A-Toastie & soup. (7:00pm - 9:00pm)
